What is your climbing triangle and ramp made from?

We craft our products from 100% domestically sourced hardwood poplar for the ramps and climbing triangle legs.  Our dowels are ususally made from birch, but may change depending on suppliers and shortages.

What age is recommended for play?

We have had families purchase our climbing triangles for their children as early as newborn and as old as 7 years.  This toy grows with your child and can be used in multiple ways.

What is a 'beeswax' finish?

Upon request we coat or 'finish' the climbing triangle or ramps with a 100% natural non-toxic beeswax paste.  This adds a layer of protection against damage as well as making it easier to clean.  The finish also adds a depth of character to the wood grain to help show its natural beauty.

What is a 'bare' finish?

Our bare finish showcases the woods natural beauty by sanding it to a smooth soft finish for years of play.

Can the climbing triangle and ramps be used outside?

Our climbing triangles and ramps are designed for indoor play as they have NOT been coated in a toxic finish to protect against harsh weather conditions.  The climbing triangle is intended for indoor use in a climate controlled environment.  Use of the climbing triangle outdoors or storage in extreme heat or cold/humidity can cause damage to the product.

What is the weight limit of your Climbing Triangle?

We recomend limiting the weight to 50lbs or about the average weight of a 7 year old.

What is the safety peg?

Accepted Answer

We offer an added safety feature when the climbing triangle is in use.  When the climbing triangle is extended, place the safety peg through the pre-drilled holes so that it cannot collapse accidentally.
